After analyzing this paper, I would grade it a C.Okay please do not hate me for this but on the assignment sheet it states “”essays reflect struggle in fulfilling the assignment goals. This kind of essay may show a fair amount of work, but it does not come together well enough to be a competent paper.” for “C” and i feel that accurately represents your paper. Although you achieved some of the goals of the assignment, I struggled with recognizing where some of the essay requirements are being met. For example, we needed to include at least 3 sources in our paper (2 primary and 1 secondary) and you only included two in total. These sources you included do appear to be two really great, reputable sources, but the inclusion of one more source would have helped to elevate this paper. I also believe the paper had to be at least 7 pages and include a work cited page. I only counted four pages in your paper and there was no work cited. I also believe after quoting a source, you needed to add an MLA citation after the quote (which I did not see done in the paper). I was also struggling to see how abortion rights have anything to do with consumption (which is what the topic of our essays had to be about). Aside from all of this, I really did enjoy reading your research paper!  Although i think some of your transitions could be a bit smoother, you had a really well structured thesis in which you explained both sides of abortion right perspectives, while showing little to no personal bias. You also compared your two sources effectively in the fourth paragraph. Overall, I feel all of the information you included did your topic justice, but you just failed to meet certain aspects the assignment sheet was asking for.
